Local Makers: Part 2

We’re excited to share two more hands-on creative processes we captured earlier this year. This second edition of Local Markers will introduce you to potter Phillip Strauss, and fourth-generation textile artist Alyssa Fea. Both of these artisans devote themselves full-time to their crafts. Phillip sells his creations each week at the Ix Park Farmer’s Market in Charlottesville, and also teaches pottery at The Arts Center in Orange, Virginia. Alyssa works out of her studio providing custom embroidery services, in addition to participating in pop-up events. We hope you enjoy this more intimate look into the work we captured for them.
