Local Makers: Part 1
In February we realized that we had photographed a number of local artisans in a short period of time, each working in a completely different medium. These shoots were so much fun because we got to go behind the scenes and watch each person’s creative process, so we learned about aspects of craftsmanship that were totally new to us. To celebrate these talented folks, we decided to do a series of Instagram posts called Chime Studio Maker Mondays to go out every Monday throughout the month. You can only fit so much into a reel, so we wanted to feature these artists in more detail over two blog posts. This first edition will introduce you to jewelry designer and goldsmith Rani Morris, and leatherworker Jess Robbins.
